Busy Busy

So I spent this entire summer...4 months...in northern Alberta working in the oil sands. The money was fantastic but I was away from my home. It wouldn't be so bad to move knowing I was never coming back but instead I wasted away my summer wishing my time was done.

So back in St John's. Found an apartment close to the university, still doing my MBA. Lots of cash from the summer...I guess it wasn't so bad. Busted my camera, looking for a good cam. Advice welcome! No new pics today but I will be posting some sailing and work shots this week hopefully.

Your art is amazing. Your work borders on morbid and sick but not for the sake of being morbid or sick...its beautiful because its so different but stays away from the tackyness of just doing a subject that is repulsive. Its skill rather than just shock...how could you not like it?
